The LPH400-LVB Super Basecoat HVLP Spray Gun is designed for "METALLIC CONTROL" on refinish paints that contain fine metallic and pearls that standard set-ups face difficulties with, such as:

  • Mottling
  • Blotching
  • Streaking
  • Floating

Due to the specific characteristics of these paints the operation and set-up for the LPH400LVB is unique.

Inlet air pressure 10psi or lower, full trigger stroke, 10 to 12 inch full spray pattern at 4 inches

Gun has a Tulip Shaped Fan Pattern that:
  • Greatly improves transfer efficiency and wetness of the pattern all the way through
  • Overspray rolls with the fan to the surface,not to the side or away providing a softer edge
  • Coatings will blend in together easier
  • Softer and even atomization
  • Lower atomizing pressure reduces overspray and bounce-back
